A bidet seat fits the toilet you already own; a bidet toilet replaces it. Top pick: TOTO Washlet S7A ($1,404.99). Value pick: S7 ($1,279.99). Budget pick: A2 ($381.99). Want a non-TOTO option? Brondell starts at $249.99. Washlet+ bidet toilets with an S7 seat start at $1,727.99. Prices checked October 12, 2026.
Most people searching for a "bidet toilet seat" want one of two things: a seat that bolts onto the toilet they already own, or a full toilet with the bidet built in. This guide covers both. It compares the TOTO Washlet seats Bathify sells, adds the Brondell seats for buyers who want a non-TOTO option, and shows what a Washlet+ bidet toilet costs next to a seat.
Everything below comes from the product listings on Bathify, checked on October 12, 2026. Prices change with sales, so confirm the number on the product page before you buy.
Bidet seats are made for either elongated or round bowls, and the wrong shape will not fit properly. At Bathify, the TOTO A2, S7 and S7A are elongated and the TOTO KC2 is round. Confirm your bowl shape before ordering - our elongated vs round toilet bowl guide shows how to tell. If you are still deciding whether to switch at all, read our bidet vs. toilet paper guide.

A bidet seat replaces the seat on a toilet you already own. A bidet toilet is a complete toilet sold together with a bidet seat. At Bathify, the bidet toilets are TOTO Washlet+ bundles: a Drake, Aquia IV or Eco Guinevere toilet paired with an S7 or S7A seat, built so the seat's power cord and water supply line are concealed. Here is how the two options compare.
| Question | Bidet seat | Bidet toilet (Washlet+ bundle) |
|---|---|---|
| Cost at Bathify | $381.99 (A2) to $1,613.99 (S7A, Sedona Beige) | $1,727.99 to $2,574.99 with an S7 or S7A seat |
| What you keep | Your existing toilet | Nothing - the toilet is replaced |
| Power | Needs an outlet near the toilet | Still needs power; the cord is concealed instead of visible |
| Water | Connects to the toilet's existing supply; mounting and connection hardware is included on the S7 and S7A | Supply line is concealed; the listings say a wax ring, bolts and supply lines are sold separately |
| Look | Cord is visible on most existing toilets | Cord and supply line are hidden |
| Best when | The toilet works and you want to add a bidet | You are replacing the toilet anyway or want the cleanest look |

Put another way, the toilet adds $448 to the S7 seat's price on the Drake 1.6 GPF bundle, $716 on the Aquia IV, and $1,034 on the one-piece Eco Guinevere. Premium TOTO Neorest integrated units sit above all of these; check each listing for what is included. Browse the full range in our one-piece toilets and toilets collections.
A seat sits on top of the bowl rim, so it adds height. If a household member has a height or mobility concern, factor the seat into your choice of toilet. Our comfort height vs standard toilet guide explains how rim and seat height work together.
Bathify sells every seat on this page, so you should know what this guide is and is not. It is a comparison of what each product listing states - features, bowl fit and price - checked on October 12, 2026. It is not the result of lab testing. Where a listing does not mention a feature, we say "not listed" instead of guessing.
| What we compared | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Self-cleaning system | EWATER+ and PREMIST appear on the S7, S7A, RX and SX; the A2 and KC2 list a self-cleaning wand |
| Controls | A remote, or a side-panel on the seat |
| Lid | Manual SoftClose, or auto open/close |
| Fit | Elongated, round, or wall-hung bowls only |
| Price | The listed Bathify price for each seat |

The S7A is the most fully featured seat that fits an existing toilet. Its listing describes an auto open/close lid that senses when you approach and leave, EWATER+ that cleans the wand and the toilet bowl, PREMIST that wets the bowl before use, and instant, continuous warm water. It also lists five spray settings, an illuminated remote with saved user settings, a heated seat, a nightlight and a warm-air dryer.
The listing also says the S7A is auto-flush compatible with a separately sold kit, and that it fits most standard toilets, including TOTO Washlet+ toilets with a concealed connection. The S7A linked here has a classic lid. It comes in Cotton White at $1,404.99 and Sedona Beige at $1,613.99.
- Auto open/close lid is the one feature the S7 lacks
- EWATER+ cleans both the wand and the bowl
- Instant, continuous warm water
- Fits standard elongated toilets and Washlet+ toilets
- $125 more than the S7 in Cotton White
- Elongated bowls only
- Auto-flush kit is sold separately

The S7 is the seat most households should compare first. Per its listing, it has the same core as the S7A - EWATER+ for the wand and bowl, PREMIST, instant warm water, five spray settings, a remote with four user memories, a heated SoftClose seat, a nightlight, an air deodorizer and a warm-air dryer - without the auto open/close lid. You lift and lower the lid yourself.
The S7 is sold with a contemporary lid, which sits flush with the toilet bowl, or a classic lid. The listings say it fits standard elongated toilets and TOTO T20/T40 Washlet+ toilets that conceal the cord and supply line. Cotton White is $1,279.99; the Sedona Beige variant is $1,470.99 and currently sold out.
- Same self-cleaning and warm-water features as the S7A
- Remote with four user memories
- Contemporary or classic lid styles
- Fits standard elongated toilets and Washlet+ toilets
- No auto open/close lid
- Elongated bowls only
- Sedona Beige is currently sold out

The A2 is the lowest-priced TOTO Washlet at Bathify and a sensible first bidet seat. Its listing describes soft rear spray, rear cleanse and front cleanse with an oscillating option, adjustable water temperature (three settings) and pressure (five settings), and a heated SoftClose seat with three temperature settings. The spray wand cleans itself inside and out before and after each use.
Controls sit on a side panel attached to the seat rather than on a remote. The listing does not mention EWATER+, PREMIST, a warm-air dryer or a nightlight, so if those matter to you, compare the KC2 and the S7 before deciding. The A2 is elongated only.
- About $900 less than the S7 in Cotton White
- Heated seat and adjustable warm-water wash
- Self-cleaning wand
- No remote - controls are on the seat's side panel
- EWATER+, PREMIST and a dryer are not listed
- Elongated bowls only

The KC2 is the TOTO Washlet for round toilet bowls, and it is round only at Bathify. Its listing describes rear and front cleansing with oscillating and pulsating options, adjustable water temperature and pressure, a heated SoftClose seat with three temperature settings, and a warm-air dryer with three temperature settings. The wand cleans itself inside and out before and after each use, and controls are on a side panel.
Compared with the A2 at $381.99, the KC2 costs $80 more. Based on the listings, the KC2 adds a warm-air dryer and a pulsating stream option, and it is the round-bowl version; the A2 listing mentions neither the dryer nor the pulsating stream.
The RX and SX are TOTO's Washlet+ seats for wall-hung toilets, and they are the most expensive seats at Bathify. They are not retrofit seats: each is designed to work only with a specific TOTO T60 Washlet+ wall-hung bowl, and the bowl and in-wall tank are sold separately.
| Model | Price | Shape | Works only with | Listing |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Washlet+ RX | $2,217.99 | D-shape | TOTO RP T60 Washlet+ ready wall-hung bowl (CT447CFGT60#01) | View → |
| Washlet+ SX | $2,439.99 | Square | TOTO SP T60 Washlet+ ready wall-hung bowl (CT449CFGT60#01) | View → |
Both listings describe PREMIST, EWATER+ wand cleaning, a heated SoftClose seat with five temperature settings, an automatic air deodorizer, a slim wireless remote with two user memories, and a concealed supply connection. The versions linked above are auto-flush ready. If you are planning a wall-hung installation, see our guide to wall-mount toilets first.
Bathify also sells Brondell Swash bidet seats. They fill the price gap between the TOTO A2 and the TOTO S7, and all three come in both elongated and round. Listing facts only:
| Model | Price | Heated seat | Dryer | Controls | Also listed |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Swash BL67 | $249.99 | Yes | Not listed | Side arm | LED nightlight, stainless steel nozzle |
| Swash DR801 | $449.99 | Yes | Yes | Side arm | Nightlight, carbon deodorizer, stainless steel nozzle |
| Swash 1400 | $669.99-$699.99 | Yes | Yes | Programmable remote | Nightlight, carbon block deodorizer, dual stainless steel nozzles |
The Swash 1400 is $669.99 in White and $699.99 in Biscuit. The Brondell listings do not mention EWATER+, PREMIST or an auto lid, so those remain TOTO-side differences.
TOTO's listings use terms that most buying guides never explain. Here is what the key ones mean, based on how the listings describe them:
TOTO's electrolyzed-water system. On the S7 and S7A, the listings say EWATER+ cleans the inside and outside of the wand before and after use and helps clean the toilet bowl upon departure. On the RX and SX, it cleans the wand before and after every use.
Before each use, PREMIST wets the surface of the toilet bowl, which TOTO says helps prevent waste from adhering and gives a better clean. It is listed on the S7, S7A, RX and SX. It is not listed on the A2 or KC2.
The S7 and S7A listings describe an instant and continuous warm water stream that lasts as long as you need it. The A2 and KC2 listings give adjustable water temperature settings but do not describe how the water is heated.
Washlet+ is TOTO's concealed-connection system. Washlet+ toilets are designed to hide the seat's power cord and water supply line. The S7 listing says it fits standard elongated toilets and TOTO T20/T40 Washlet+ toilets; the S7A listing says it fits most standard toilets, including Washlet+ toilets with a concealed connection. The RX and SX are designed only for TOTO's T60 Washlet+ wall-hung bowls.
The S7A's lid senses when you approach and depart, so it opens and closes without a button press. Among the TOTO seats compared here, only the S7A has it. The others have a manual SoftClose lid that closes slowly and quietly.
You want the auto open/close lid and the full S7 feature set, and you are happy to pay $125 more than the S7 in Cotton White. You have an elongated bowl, or you own a TOTO Washlet+ toilet.
You want EWATER+, PREMIST, instant warm water and a four-user remote but do not need the auto lid. Budget is about $1,280 for the seat.
You are trying a bidet seat for the first time, or equipping a guest or secondary bathroom, and you are comfortable with side-panel controls. Budget is about $380.
You have a round bowl and want a TOTO seat with a warm-air dryer. Budget is about $460.
You want to spend under $450 or want a remote-controlled seat in the $670-$700 range, and you do not need EWATER+ or an auto lid.
You are replacing the toilet anyway, or you want the power cord and supply line hidden. Bundles start at $1,727.99. If you plan a wall-hung installation, look at the RX or SX with a matching T60 bowl and in-wall tank.
TOTO's listings describe the Washlet seats as easy to install yourself. Before ordering, confirm these four things:
| Requirement | What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Bowl shape | Elongated or round | A2, S7 and S7A are elongated; KC2 is round; Brondell seats come in both |
| Power | An outlet near the toilet, and TOTO's installation guide for your model | Electronic seats heat the seat and water, so they need power |
| Washlet+ toilet? | Whether your toilet is a TOTO Washlet+ model | The S7 and S7A listings say they work with Washlet+ toilets that conceal the cord and supply line |
| Height | Toilet rim height plus the seat | The seat sits on the rim; see the comfort height guide |
The S7 for most homes. The S7A if you want the auto lid. The A2 to start small.
For an existing toilet, the TOTO Washlet S7 ($1,279.99) is the value pick: per its listing, it carries the same EWATER+, PREMIST, instant warm water and four-user remote as the S7A. The S7A ($1,404.99) is the top pick if the auto open/close lid is worth $125 to you. The A2 ($381.99) costs about $900 less than the S7, but its listing does not mention EWATER+, PREMIST, a remote or a dryer.
If you have a round bowl, the KC2 ($461.99) is the TOTO option. If you want a non-TOTO seat, Brondell starts at $249.99. If you are replacing the toilet anyway, a Washlet+ bidet toilet starts at $1,727.99 and hides the cord and supply line.
